“ Very, very good food! I've been to sushi restaurants all over the US and after moving to the Jackson, Tennessee area I have not been impressed until now. The sushi and sushimi was very fresh, the portions were generous, the staff was all very friendly and my boyfriend and I can't wait to go back! I ordered a sushi and sushimi plate, he had the spicy pork with white rice. It's not a fancy place but we weren't looking for fancy, just really good sushi for a good price. ”

“ We were wanting to eat out today but honestly it’s been awhile since we went to a restaurant where it felt like something good, something special and something worth the money. So many places just meh and for the food taste, quality and hospitality just not worth it, Till today, I wanted something a bit different and we decided on Fujiyama.. we were greeted at the door by a very kind young lady, we were seated and the gentleman who took the drink order was super nice. We had not eaten here before so we’re not sure what to do. We flagged down a super helpful gentleman his name was Waylon, he was so kind and we explained this was our first time at their establishment and we’re not sure how their restaurant worked, he ask what we were interested in eating we both said the New York strip hibachi.. he recommended us move to the hibachi table area and get the meal prepared in front of us. I am so grateful for his help. We get a great table side experience and the food and service was so good. The cost per plate was very reasonable and when you taste the food it feels like a steal of a deal. When is the last time you ate all your veggies and really enjoyed them! Best restaurant in Jackson for Great food, excellence in hospitality, and the environment was something a little more special than your standard dining. This is hands down my new favorite restaurant in Jackson! Thank you Waylon, we can’t wait to come back and see you and the rest of the staff at Fujiyama. ”

“ Came here with my sisters last night 12/18/2025. Not sure the name of our waiter but he did a great job we joked with him brought everything fast our cook was awesome as well. Made sure we liked everything cooked our food in front of us since we had Habachi dinners. Wait was not long to sit or receive food. 10/10. Will return and this was our first time there might I add. ”
